Miranda Avila (Receptionist)

Miranda was born and raised in Goodrich, Michigan and in March of 2008 she decided to settle down, with her husband Isaac, in Colorado after a few years of getting sidetracked in other states.

Miranda's love for animals began to take shape when she started taking horseback riding lessons at age 10. As her abilities and knowledge increased, she interned at three horse training facilities and also managed two boarding stables.

In her spare time, Miranda enjoys hiking with her two dogs, Dio and Coal and training her 2008 Quarter Horse filly, Lyric. She's also attending college, focusing on a Pharmacology degree; though her dream is to training reining horses.

Miranda has been part of the CVH team since February 2009. Miranda loves coming to work and meeting all of the wonderful animals and their owners! She feels very lucky to work at CVH and has no plans of going anywhere!
